Is the SangoBids iOS app free?
Yes. The app is free to download from the Apple App Store and includes a free Discover plan with daily morning briefs and tender search. Premium plans (Starter, Plus) unlock advanced filters, AI bid prep tools, and unlimited alerts — billed via Apple In-App Purchase, in French CFA prices regardless of your App Store region.
Which iPhone and iPad models are supported?
SangoBids requires iOS 15 or newer. It runs on iPhone 7 and later, all iPad models running iPadOS 15+, and is fully optimized for iPhone 12 through iPhone 16 and the latest iPad Pro.
Does the app work in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Guinea?
Yes. SangoBids covers public tenders from official government sources in all five countries. The app auto-detects your country at first launch and you can switch country anytime from the home screen.
Is the app available in English?
Yes. The full interface, tender summaries, and notifications are bilingual French and English. Tap the language switch in Settings to swap. Tender notices in the source language can be translated FR/EN in one tap.
Will I get tender alerts on my phone?
Yes. SangoBids sends push notifications the moment a new tender matches your sectors, regions, or keywords. You also get a daily morning brief and configurable deadline reminders. All channels can be muted independently.
Can I use SangoBids without internet?
Tenders you've saved sync to your phone and stay readable offline. New search results and alerts require a connection, but the app is built to be light on data — works smoothly on 3G across the region.
How does the app compare to using SangoBids in the browser?
Same data, same accounts. The browser version (sangobids.com) and the iOS app share one login and the same tender database. The phone app adds push alerts, faster save-to-phone access, and is optimized for one-handed use during commutes and site visits.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — the Android app is in active development and launching soon on Google Play. Sign up at sangobids.com/android-bientot to be notified the day it ships.
Is my data secure?
Yes. SangoBids encrypts your data in transit and at rest, and the company vault for compliance documents uses Apple's secure-enclave keychain. We never sell your data and our privacy policy is at sangobids.com/privacy.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions purchased via the iOS app are managed through your Apple ID. Open Settings on iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find SangoBids, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
